Feb 12, 2005 - Brisbane, Australia - Just Arrived
Hey Everyone,
Well, I made it to Australia in one piece and starting
to get settled in. I have local cell phone # in case anyone wants to reach
Tony or myself. From
the
US dial 011-61-416745609. It also has a voice mail on it. I arrived in OZ yesterday,
and Tony arrived today. We have had nothing but great hospitality since I arrived.
I had a friend’s sister pick me up at the airport when I arrived. She
has been a great help in getting us settled in as well as provided us with
a place to stay. We are now on the hunt for surf mobile! Basically, we’re
looking for some type of van that we can travel and live out of from time to
time. I actually drove a car today in Oz which was interesting. Let me just
say that it was an adventure driving on the opposite side of the road. Everyone
that we have encountered here has been so hospitable. It is very refreshing
to travel to a country where the people treat you in such a way. We are in
Brisbane at the moment and in the process of finding wheels to see this killer
country… I am attaching a few photos for your viewing pleasure…. “Big
