We got back from Staddie Island on Sunday night. Our plans for Monday were to gut the inside of our van out so that we could make it organized and livable. After going to the lumber store, we got a phone call from Marnie who said that her brother Pete called saying that the waves had picked up on the Sun Shine coast. So we dropped the van project, packed our boards, and headed up to Noosa Heads which was about a 2 hr drive from Brisbane. We made it just in time for the evening glass off. Today is Wednesday and we are still here in Noosa Heads catching great surf! After a long day of surf, we were leaving the beach and spotted a Koala Bear crossing the road. We scrabbled for the camera and got a picture once it had climbed up a tree (see pick below).

So that’s the latest from down under in Australia. One last thing for those of you who have been keeping up with our web page, it has been a pain trying to update it because High Speed Internet has been hard to come by. We will try to update as often as possible
