April 27th, 2005 - Selling Our Van in Byron Bay

After putting 12,321 Kilometers on our Van (Roxy), it was time to find her a new loving home before we depart to New Zealand next week. We ended up putting up signs up all over Byron Bay which is a pretty big Back Packer destination. In addition to the signs, we also just sat in the Van on the side of the road with signs on it. After only three hours, we had a buyer! A guy named Lee (from England) just happened to be walking by and fell in love with her! Lee had been looking for a car for a while but everything he'd seen was junk. Lee had recently quit his job of 18 years as a Chef to pursue becoming a Sound Healer. He couldn't have come across a better Van that has been taken care of as well as had so many great memories. We must say that it was very sad and emotional watching our Van (Roxy) drive away! She has pretty much been our home on wheels for the past three months.

Lee, if you are reading this, enjoy Roxy as we did and give her lots of love. Drop us an email once in a while and let us know how she is doing.................. On to the next chapter
