April 29th, 2005 - Surfing Lennox Point

Woke up to a sunny day and a quick surf check down the coast to Ballina....Waves looked cleaner right out front at Lennox so Tony with his sore back, decided to take the hit and shoot photos.....as you can see, got some good ones of Eddie rippin' and some long boarder tuckin' into the tube....afterwards, Lennox Pete insisted we stop by Sherro's house to see his years and years of surfing paraphernalia, and massive and eccentric surfboard collection.

Did not witness this story firsthand, but Pete told us Sherro had just gotten in a fight with the local meat pie shop owner....Sherro complained there was NO CHICKEN in the Chicken Pies...guess the "pie guy" got a little offended and Sherro and the "pie guy" had a go at it!!!!! "pie guy" head butted Sherro and the rest is Lennox history........

For you surfing aficionados, take a look at Sherro's board collection.....got one of Cheyne Horan's first single fins he won on, Sunny Garcia and Andy Iron's old sticks, and just a multitude of odd shapes and sizes.......the guy's obsessed.....
