June 1st, 2005 - Cape Reinga, New Zealand

Cape Reinga is the furthest point north that you can travel to in New Zealand. It is located at the top of the North Island and is where the Tasman Sea and the South Pacific Ocean meet. There is a famous Light House located at the Cape. We ended up driving part of the 90km's to get there on 90 Mile Beach which is near our friends Orchard. We must say that Flipper was really excited to drive on the beach. Make sure that you watch the video below. It did rain most of the way and Flipper got pretty dirty from the muddy roads. Maybe tomorrow we'll let her take a swim in the ocean so that she gets a bath. The journey continues...
