June 13, 2005 - Kayaking In The Noosa Sound

The waves were flat today, but the sunshine was out. So we decided to rent a kayak and take a tour through the Noosa Sound. The Sound is full of channels with million dollar homes sitting on them. Not a bad place to live if you've got the cash! As we were pulling the kayak onto the sand Nici spotted a giant Bat Ray. Its wing span was at least 3 feet wide. Check out the pic in the last row below! Not sure where we will head next from here. Hopefully somewhere that the sun is shinning! The journey continues.............
