July 12 - Tonys Mixed Fiji Pics

Note: We are both back in New Zealand today. Eddie is leaving in a few hours headed to Thailand then Indonesia on July 20th. So we are pretty much parting ways today for a while. I (Tony) will be hanging in New Zealand with Flipper until August 4th. After that, I plan to go back to New York to take care of a few things, then hit the road again! So that's the latest from here.

Below are some mixed pics that I (Tony) am just now posting. I arrived 1 week early in Fiji, before reconnecting with Eddie, who was back in Australia. Hung out at a mellow little surf camp called Rendezvous and was stoked to meet up with Alex who I stayed with in Manly Beach Australia previously. She had been in Europe on vacation and was being blasted by a bad heat wave, so decided to bolt down to Fiji to hang out under some coconut trees with me. Had a great time reconnecting with her and partying with the local Fijian crew at Rendezvous drinking Kava and listening to Fijian tunes every night…..waves were again, average at best. Need to make this one short because Eddie is off to Thailand and need to drop him at the airport.
