Note: Because internet connections in Bali are so slow, I have to limit the amount of photos I post. I also have to compress the photos so much that the quality is not the greatest.

Let’s see, where do I begin??? Been hanging in Bali since I got back from my boat trip. Surf has been ok, but should be picking up soon. On another note, I had a very big surprise last night. Nici showed up at my hotel door two days early. She was supposed to be visiting me on the 15th but decided to give me a little surprise. It was about midnight when someone pounded on my door. I woke up very startled and asked who was there. No one answered so I thought maybe it was next door. Then the door pounded again and someone tried to open it. So I asked again who was there and still no answer. I started to get a little freaked out because I couldn’t imagine who was trying to break in. I was debating whether to open the door or not! Finally, I said screw it and opened the door with my fist ready to knock someone out. So when I opened the door, no one was there. Then all of a sudden Nici jumped out in front of me and yelled SURPRISE! I was still half asleep and could not really imagine that it was her. But it was a very good surprise.

Naomi from California left today, Nici will be here for the next two weeks. My friend Sharon and her daughter Alexis are coming on the 21st for two weeks. Then after that another friend of mine Michelle (who I have known for at least 18 years) is coming to Bali for 6 days. Then after that I leave to meet two friends (Dale & Matt from home) in Sumatra for an 11 day surfing boat trip around the Mentawais Islands. Bianca from Australia is also coming out in October. And on top of that, just got an email from Nate who is a Chef at my favorite restaurant at home that he will also be coming to Bali. It seems like for two months straight I will have visitors in Bali. Well, got to run…. Below are just some miscellaneous pics.
