Finally, a new update on the web page! I know that some of you at home have been following my journey religiously. I have had so many visitors in Bali that I haven’t had much time to post new updates.
Here is the latest news from Bali. Nici left on the 27th of August back to Australia. On her last night here she had an allergic reaction to something she ate and had to be rushed to the hospital. She started to swell up pretty bad and was beginning to have difficulties breathing. I got her on the back of my motorbike at 2:00am and drove like a mad man to the Bali International Medical Center. Once we got there they immediately put an IV in her and gave her some antihistamines to stop the allergic reaction. We ended staying there until about 6 am. I must say that the hospital was very clean and the staff was excellent. You just never know about the type of medical care available in some third world countries.
Sharon and Alexis also left on Sept 4th back to California. My friend Michelle from Chicago arrived on the 3rd and will be here until the 9th. I have known Michelle for at least the past 15 years. Michelle and I used to work together at the Hyatt Hotel in Anaheim, California. Michelle now works for Hyatt International Sales out of Chicago. She is fortunate enough on this trip to be staying for free at two of the 5 Star Resorts that Hyatt has to offer here in Bali. Not a bad deal I must say!
Below are just a few pics from Dreamland as well as the Temple at Uluwatu. The Temple at Uluwatu is full of Monkeys as you will see in the photos. The journey continues…..
