Day 1 - Boat Trip

After an all night boat travel, we pulled up this morning to a surf spot called Scarecrow’s. We were greeted with some overhead surf which was a great start for our first day. There were also a handful of Barrels to be had! When we first pulled up, we were the only boat in sight. By the end of the day, a total of 4 boats had shown up. Even though there were 4 boats, the crowd factor was never that bad. One of the boats actually had a crew of guys from Huntington Beach which I have seen them over the years from surfing at home. To be honest, those were probably the last people that I wanted to see in the middle of nowhere! I left Huntington Beach to get away from all of the agro surfers there! Anyway, it wasn’t bad at all. Everyone got plenty of great waves. So far we are off to a great start! The journey continues……
