Day 5 – Boat Trip
What can I say, just another day in surf paradise! Still can’t believe how many great waves we are surfing and what an adventure I am on…. It’s funny when I sit here and look back at my life for the past 8 months (where I have been, what I have surfed, people I have met, experiences I have had, and the priceless memories that no one can ever take away from me). I am just so thankful for being able to do what I am doing. Ok, now that I got that out of the way lets talk surf!
Today we ended up at a famous surf break called “Macaroni’s” that is a peeling, barreling left hander! It wasn’t huge, but it was super fun. There were definitely lots of barrels to be had. The reef here is also very shallow and sharp. Many of us got bounced on the reef today but thankfully no one got seriously injured. Below are just a handful of pics that I shot of today’s surf. For those of you who surf at home, you just can’t even imagine! You definitely need to put this on your list of places to surf. Enjoy the pics. The journey continues….
