September 26, 2005 – Back In Bali

Hey Everyone, I know it has been a while since I posted an update. I just got back to Bali 4 days ago from the Mentawais Islands in Indonesia. I met up with a few friends from home to do an 11 day surfing boat trip. We scored some epic waves everyday! I have several updates that I am going to post soon. I actually sent a CD home with about 12 Updates for my webpage with tons of pics that a friend is going to upload for me since it takes so long to do from here. My friend is out of town so the postings will not be on the web until Oct 2 at the latest. We had a great trip and you won’t believe some of the pictures when you see them.

So now I am back in Bali and feeling pretty surfed out from my trip. I have a friend Nate from home who is also currently in Bali with me. Nate will be here until the 28th of September. I have been pretty much hanging with him and a few other guys (another Nate & Tannon) who I met on my boat trip. The waves this week in Bali have not been the greatest and I guess I have also been very spoiled in the Mentawais. I am leaving Bali this week and taking a quick trip to Western Australia to meet up with Nici. I will be there from Sept 29th – Oct 11th then back to Bali. Tony who I was traveling with in the beginning will also arrive in Bali this week and stay for at least a few months.

One last story that just happened about an hour ago. I was on my way home from the beach and when I came around a blind corner there was a guy who had just crashed on a motorbike. He came around the blind corner and hit a dog which also took him out. He got pretty banged up and as it turns out the guy is staying at my hotel. I actually had just met him yesterday. Most of you know that I hit a dog a while back as well. Since then I have had several other very close calls. These dogs are haunting me! Well, I am out of here.
