September 28, 2005 Going To Australia

Hey everyone, I am leaving Bali tomorrow and headed to Western Australia to meet up with Nici. So I probably won’t have many updates during that time. I will be back in Bali on Oct 11th. Tony who I traveled with in the beginning will arrive tomorrow and stay until the end of November. Nate from California just left a few hours ago and it’s back to reality for him. Nate did take home a memory for life from Bali! And no it wasn’t a sexual disease! It’s a tattoo in case you were wondering…. Below are just a few pics of Nate in the process of getting his 5 hour tattoo….You just may recognize Nate, he is the head Chef at Mahe’s in Seal Beach.

On another note, I almost had another bad experience on my motorbike yesterday. I was on my way to the beach going about 50 mph or so. Nate was just a few cars behind me on his motorbike. I went to pass a car and as I was passing the car the driver decided to make a lane change. All of a sudden I felt the rear of my motorbike slide not knowing that the car had just hit me. The car ended up hitting the rear side of my bike. Actually hit my surf board. I was so lucky not to fall and no damage to the surf board. But the surf board was the least of my worries. You just can’t even imagine how crazy the driving is over here. Every night when I make it home in one piece I thank God! Those of you who have been to Bali can relate to what I am saying. Well, signing off for now. My Mentawais boat trip pics should hopefully be posted by Monday. The journey continues…
