December 18th, 2005 - Back In California

Hey Everyone,

I am back in California now. I left Indonesia on Dec 6th and stopped in Thailand (Bangkok) for two days. Then I had another quick stop in New Zealand before heading back to California. I planned to stay in NZ until Dec 16th but I got really sick again to my stomach and the waves were also flat so I left on Dec 13th. I did get a chance to meet up with some friends in New Zealand which I met on the road traveling.

We had a surprise Birthday party for my Dads 73rd which was also the day I surprised both of my parents. They had no idea that I was coming home for the holidays which was a great surprise. I have posted some pics below of the surprise party as well. One of my Dad’s friends also named Eddie cooked up some Paella which was just incredible! You can taste it just buy looking at the pic below.

Other than that, I am just trying to get into the swing of things at home. The weather is very cold compared to where I have been and the surf has been crap! I guess I have been pretty spoiled the past year! It has been nice to catch up with many of my friends that I haven’t seen for so long. I went on boat a few days ago which was in the New Port Beach harbor boat parade with some friends. I also did my annual Santa’s on Harley’s motorcycle ride with many of my friends which is always a lot of fun. We will be riding again on Dec 24th so I will post some more pics then. I also posted a movie below that you must view with "Quicktime Video" which you can download for free on the web. The video is also compressed so much that you have to view it in a small window or else it will be too blurry.
