March 7, 2006 – Continues To Rain, Bali

Well, let’s just say it’s the rainy season here. It has been raining nonstop since I got here! Today it just poured and the streets of Kuta were all flooded. In some places the water was about 2ft deep. Anyway, life goes on here rain or shine. I ended riding my motorbike out to the Bukit in search of some surf. Stopped by my friend Juni’s house at Bingin Beach. Juni has a restaurant on the beach there and I have known her and all of the others in the pic below for the past 7 years. Surf wasn’t any good on this side of this side of the Island so I headed over to the east and scored some good ones at Serangan. Well, got to run… Wish you were here!
