April 9th, 2006 - Leaving Phi Phi Island, Thailand

Well, the time has finally come to BLOW OUT OF HERE! Can't believe that I was here for as long as I was! Anyway, I am ready to get back to Bali and hit the surf! I am on my way to Phuket for one night, then a night in Malaysia the next day, and then finally back to Bali the next.

I did have a good time here and it was very relaxing. Hung out with a good group of guys I met. Henry from Ecuador, Daniel from England, and Jeremy from Oregon. We all went out last night since everyone was leaving today! A funny story: As we were on our way out last night, we ran into this girl who was with her boyfriend on the side of the street. Her boyfriend was so drunk that he was completely passed out and lying in the gutter. She asked us for help in getting him home since he was too heavy for her to carry. So Henry and I ended up carrying him home as you will see in the pic below. It was pretty classic!

Anyway, enjoy the photos below. If anyone reading this happens to make a trip to Phi Phi Island, then I would recommend that you stay at the "Island Guest House". It's located in the middle of town. Just get to the Irish Bar then you will see a sign on a tree pointing you to the Island Guest House. The place is reasonably priced for Phi Phi, super clean, and secure! The journey continues....
