April 22, 2006 - Latest From Bali

Well, my days are numbered here! I will be back in California on April 27th just to take care of some of the things that I am importing from Indonesia. Don't plan on staying there too long if I can help it! Been pretty much just surfing my tail off everyday. We've had some pretty fun days here lately and the weather has also been great. Be hanging with the international crew lately. I ran into Cedric and his girlfriend Thuy-mai who I met a while back in New Zealand. They are from Switzerland. It's a small world! Also been hanging with David from Germany who is friends with some other Germans who I know that live here.

As far as me, seems like I have had more things happen to me in the past week! To start, I have had an ear infection for the past three weeks and pretty much have not been able to hear anything out of one ear. Very frustrating I must say! I was finally able to find a good ear doctor that had up to date equipment. He even had a little camera that I could view the inside of my ear with. Below are a few photos from his camera that will show you how clogged up my ear was. It was such a relief after he went in there and sucked everything out! Then after that, I burned my leg with the exhaust pipe from my motorcycle! To add more pain to the burn, I ended up burning it again the next day in the same spot! Ouch, burn on top of a burn! But it doesn't stop there, been stung numerous times over the past week by Jelly fish while surfing. Yesterday I actually got stung in the face by a string of Jelly fish and it was very painful!
