July 11th, 2006 – Surfing Bingin, Bali

Well, what can I say, the surf has been so good! Surfed Bingin the past two days and it’s just been barreling as usual. I must say that it’s one of my most favorite waves in Bali. It’s just like a machine that produces perfect barrel after barrel! My first wave of day there just dropped in and got slotted, what a nice welcome. After that, I tossed a few times face first on the reef as the tide was extremely low. Just got a few scrapes which I was very lucky. Anyway, the pics say it all!

On another note, the weather has been great and I’ve just been catching up with old friends. Been hanging out with Tim who lives here as well as Naomi (aka Na Na) who is a friend of Tim’s that I actually met here last year. I have pretty much been chauffeuring her around on the back of my motorbike as I did last year, lucky her!

Oh ya, Camelia (Naomi’s Mom), I have posted some pics of your baby per your email request as well as her friends Juan and Roski from Puerto Rico. They are some classic characters! Well, I got lots to do believe it or not, so catch ya on the next update! Ps. the surf has been epic, wish you were here!
