July 17, 2006 – My Tree House at Bingin, Bali

Well, I now officially have two places in Bali. One is in Kuta at Suka Beach hotel where I have had a room for the past year. I am pretty settled in there now and actually just repainted my room last week so it is like new.

Ok, as far as my new place that I just rented today, it is absolutely insane with a breath taking view of the ocean as well as two world class surf breaks just in my view. I can lie in my bed and see how Bingin or Impossibles is breaking. The place kind of reminds me of something like a Tree House. It has stained wood floors with a Palapa/Straw grass type roof. You feel the ocean just below you. The place is just magical and it’s in front of a PERFECT Left Barreling wave (Bingin). All of the surf pics posted below were taken from my room! I will most likely stay here two or three days per week or until the surf is not good. I have died had gone to heaven……. The journey continues…

Ps. The surf died done a little today, but still had a handful of barrels at Bingin.
