August 15th, 2006 - Bali Update

Hey everyone, all is well in Bali. Just been hanging low lately. I got several emails from some of you at home inquiring about my whereabouts since I hadn’t updated my webpage in a few weeks. So here is the latest… We did have another big swell after the last update and no one died this time! I did manage to get a few days of good surf but I have still been kind of chilling out on surfing. I think I just need a good 4-5ft fun day to get back into the swing of things. The waves have also been pretty small this week so that’s another reason why I haven’t surfed much. It’s supposed to pick up again in a few days. Other than that, just been hanging out with friends here and enjoying myself. I did just go to a kite festival the other day which was pretty interesting. Mostly Indo’s there with their families. I think there were only about 5 white people there including myself. Well, that’s about it for now… Got to go….
