All is well in Bali, just been busy with guests visiting lately. Many of you have emailed wondering why I have not posted anything in a while! My sister and a few other friends from home (Petra, Steff, & Andrea) have been out here visiting me. So I have been pretty occupied with them lately. Today is Saturday, Sept 2 and everyone has left. Just hanging solo now so will try to keep on the webpage a little more. I will be here in Bali until Sept 29th then I head to Sumatra to meet 7 friends from home for surfing boat trip in the Mentawais. After that, I’ll be back in Bali around Oct 11th.

Ok, so where do I begin since it’s been so long???? Below is a mix of pics from the past several weeks. Been cruising around many different beaches, sites, restaurants, etc… The surf has also been pretty good although I have been slacking on taking surf pics. Last night we headed back to the tree house to retake some photos that had been lost because of a flash card malfunction. Pulled up at about 5:30 pm and when I saw the waves its just looked so good. I was going to head out for quick surf but then realized that I didn’t have my reef booties with me and the tide was going low. It was pretty frustrating to only see 6 people out a Bingin with perfectly clean barreling waves and not be able to surf. I was so bummed! Impossibles was also looking very good as well! Anyway, the past two days have been pretty epic I as far as the surf. Surfed Impossibles for two days and had so many 300-yard long waves. One of the other local photographers mentioned to me that he got some pretty good shots of me that day, so will hopefully get them soon and post.

Well, don’t know what else to say. Pretty burned out at the moment as well as I’ve pulled a muscle or something in my back. So sitting here and typing does not feel so well on the back. Had a good time with all of you from home! See you soon….
