I recently bought a 1961 Vintage Vespa that is in pieces. You can actually find many old Vespa's running around Indonesia. There are also a few guys here who specialize in restoring them as well as customizing them. The one I just bought I am actually having completely modified. I am going to have it stretched, lowered, etc. Since I am here, I can supervise the entire process step by them. The guys here do some amazing metal work for the limited tools they have. Anyway, below are just a few pics of what it looks like at the moment. They have already cut the back end and stretched it. Tomorrow we are going to cut the floor board and stretch it about 3 to 4 feet. I am also posting a few pics of the other restorations they have currently done. If anyone is interested in a Vespa, let me know… I also came across a few old Harley’s for sale. One is a 1941 Military Bike and the other is a 1947 Civilian Bike. Below are some pics….
