Feb 10, 2007 ? Taghazout, Morocco

After a long journey, finally made it to Morocco. I flew into Agadir then caught a local taxi to get me to Taghazout Village where I am going to meet up with a buddy. My taxi driver was a classic; he just smiled as I kept taking his photo. This is definitely an interesting place as far as the people and the culture to say the least. Not many speak English, but they all speak French.

As far as the surf, the first day was kind of small. Today the surf was actually pretty good, but unfortunately the place was packed with all of the Moroccan weekend warriors from Agadir. Lets just say that they have no surf etiquette! Surfed a spot called Anchor Point. Anyway, it is what it is and will be much less crowded during the week. I just shot a handful of photos below of Taghazout. The journey continues??
