March 4th, 2007 – Latest From Morocco, North Africa

Been hanging out the past 10 days with 4 Swiss guys and 1 German. One of the Swiss guys named Cedric; I actually met while in New Zealand a few years ago. I borrowed a tool of him when my Van broke down then 6 months later ran into him in Bali of all places. Anyway, we ended up hanging out in Bali and have kept in touch since. He came out to Morocco with 4 buddies which we all had a blast together.

My days are coming to an end soon and I would say that I’m about ready. Been in one place just a little too long. It’s been a great and journey but I’m really over the Moroccan surf scene. The locals can’t surf, they all drop in on each other, and not to mention a handful of fights I’ve scene. Just not my crowd I guess. I will say that the surf has been very consistent the entire time I’ve been here, and it’s been good. Got plenty of waves, but just have to really hustle at times when it’s crowded.
