May 18th, 2007 - Padang Padang Pumping, Bali
Below are just a few pics that my buddy Tim took of Padang Padang today. The
surf was pumping, Impossibles was about 3 times over head but not really
working like it should. Seems like there is too much west in the swell. I rode
my motorbike everywhere today trying to find a place to surf, but no luck.
All of the spots were pretty big and closing out, I guess I just really didn't
feel like taking a beating. Uluwatu was massive and pretty clean from what
I heard,
but no way to paddle out! Padang Padang was about the only place, but unfortunately
it was a Circus out there! At least 50 guys trying to take off on one wave
that's pretty gnarly if you dont make it! I still havent busted out my camera,
but will do so soon and post some more surf picks. Haven't been feeling to
good lately, plus I got a bad ear infection going at the moment and need to
see the ear doctor again. Well, that's the latest from this side of the world.
