Sorry that I have been lagging on updating my webpage. I’ve had several of you email me wondering what was up? Anyway, just been pretty busy since I got back. Spent the past week Surf Guiding/Surf Instructing a guy from Ireland named Aidan. He was passed on to me from another friend of mine who owns a surf camp here in Bali. Aidan turned out to be a really cool guy and I had lots of fun taking him around, not to mention getting paid to go surfing! Anything helps over here. Aidan was here in Bali on his honeymoon. I have also made a few bucks lately with my surf photography. The pics below are from two days ago at Airport Lefts where I took Aidan and a few other friends. The waves were small, but some fun ones to be had. It was definitely very crowded with lots of hazards in the water. You’ll see what I mean by some of the photos. Surf has definitely been really good since I got back, scoring lots of waves…..

I will say that when I first came back I wasn’t really feeling the vibe here! I was starting to wonder if this was where I really need to be at the moment. I got my place back in Kuta, but the Tree House in Bingin was not looking so good, which really bummed me out! So I was on the search for another really chill pad on the beach in Bingin and not having much luck. Also had a few days of really crowded surf, which didn’t help. Then a few days after that I was on my motorbike and got hit by another car. Fortunately, we were both going really slowly and I managed to save myself by putting my feet down. Just another reminder of how crazy the driving is in Bali. Nobody can drive over here! You just need to go to the police station and pay a few bucks to get a drivers license, no driving school required! Also caught a bad cold and an ear infection which I had to see the E.N.T. doctor. I'm getting to be a regular at his office!

Well, I can now say that I am feeling the vibe again. It feels really good to be here. I am also getting the Tree House back on June 11th for the rest of the year, so stoked! Been making a few bucks here and there, and not to mention lots of great waves, warm water, beautiful weather, and good people around me! So I am back in paradise again and really stoked about it! That is the latest from here…. The journey continues…
