July 1st, 2007 - Surfing Airports, Bali
The surf still continues to pump.....
It’s been nonstop barrels
at Airport Lefts on the low tide. Surfed here the past two days with Javi
and two other
really cool Aussie guys that I met at Bingin named Daniel and James. Also been
shooting a lot of pics here and making a few bucks off of the tourist which
is good. I usually jump in for a few waves, then shoot a few waves, then surf
again, then shoot again, etc... We've been surfing like 3 hour sessions here
the past few days. When the tide gets low here it barrels, but it also gets
very low tide and dangerous. At sunset it was just us left in the water the
past few days catching wave after wave. It's what a surfer dreams about, sitting
in a line up with just your buddies catching good waves, warm water, and a
beautiful scenery! These are the days I love the most. Well, check out the
pics below. The surf dropped a little today, but big swell coming in a few
days so it's back the usual here! :) The journey continues....
