August 3, 2007 – Surfing the Bommie, Nembrala
Well, it’s our last day here and the journey home begins. Hopefully not as difficult as the journey coming here! Yesterday I shot some surf pics at the Bommie here in Nembrala. It’s right-hander that can get pretty fun. Anyway, a few guys from the resort next door hired me to shoot them surfing, which pretty much paid for most of my trip. There was a couple of other tourist taking pics of their friends in which they got a few shots of me.
It’s been a great trip and a great experience coming here. I liked it so much, that I am looking at buying a chuck of land here! It’s definitely very cheap compared to Bali. I’m sure that some day this place will be more popular as surfers seek uncrowded waves. So let’s keep it a secrete as long as we can! The journey continues….
