Just spent the past 8 days hanging with some great people. I have some friends at home that had some friends coming out and gave them my info. I guess they knew we’d have a great time together. Anyway, Louie, Jeanine (Louie’s sister), and Steve just left today. Hung out with them everyday and showed them Bali through my eye’s.

It’s funny how you meet so many people in life, but some you just click with and know that they will be around for a long time. Steve and Louie are headed back to California, and Jeanine is off to Thailand to meet her boyfriend from California. After Thailand, she’s off to finish her studies in China. She actually just came from Madrid where she had been studying.

As far as the surf, it’s been crap lately which was a bummer for the boys. They did get a few days of OK surf, but definitely did not see the true potential of Bali. Louie got hit by his surfboard on the second day and got 9 stitches in the face, bummer…. But that didn’t keep him out of the water. He just took a few days off. Well, that’s the latest from here! Louie, Steve, & Jeanine: if you guys are reading this, it was a pleasure meeting all of you! So many classic great memories from hanging with all of you. And Steve, just remember “ LT” baby, and don’t ever forget it!

Oh ya, I was just reminded of what a small world it is! There's a pick below of me and a guy named Boyd. I met Boyd in El Salvador about 8 years ago. Boyd is from Texas by the way. Then I ran into him in Huntington about three years later and then a few days ago I run into him in Bali. I was checking the surf at Uluwatu and heard someone call my name out. It's really just a small world. The journey continues…..
